I cancelled after my last box but got the spring box anyway and charged A few cute things but re submitted my cancellation The quality has decreased significantly The items I received are not on the site for the spring box so guessing they just stuck stuff in that was left over I didn’t personalize because I cancelled Please check accounts and cancellation confirmations before sending out boxes!

Wishing we could leave reviews for each item but not sure if I can do that. It should be known that the cactus cup grows mold, and it grows mold very quickly. Water does not fully drain from all the various crevices and can get trapped in there unless you are adamantly hand drying the cup after each wash and because of the shape of this cup that’s almost impossible to do. After one wash there was mold all around the inside and outside the lip of the cup as well as the crevices inside, because I can’t see or really get into wash the “arms” of the cactus I couldn’t be sure there wasn’t mold in there as well so I just tossed it. Do not use, you will be drinking mold!!

Honestly I loved my box!! It had all the things I need and want right now for my beauty routine and I didn’t even get to customize as much as I wanted but I love these goodies and have always found the quality to be well worth the price!

Never again will I waste my money on this crap. Sickening I paid all this money for a nail polish, crappy mascara a cheap wallet and some broken UV cleaner. Do NOT buy or waste your money, go to Sephora and pick out some good quality items that you will actually like.

This is not worth it. So upset I paid for an annual subscription. Even after customizing my box I received absolutely nothing I requested. I understand they run out but nothing. Now I have a bunch of junk I will never use. Very disappointed save yourself the money.

For real problem since my first box between not getting my order n disappointed from what I do get the promise of a bonus box then an oh sorry cant resend two boxes even thpught we have obviously messed up since your first order. Let's hope its better with the upgraded box or this will be my canal over with plenty of publicity and non showing of unboxing video. #canwegetittogether #wtf #whatistheeffingproblem

After reading all of these comments, I see I am not the only one who was very disappointed in my Spring box. If there is someone out there that would pay $20 for that cactus cup, I'd like to direct them to the nearest "Dollar Tree" where they can find all kinds of junk like that for $1. The "mesh tote" was also something they might find there. I stared getting FFF because my daughter showed me some very nice things she had gotten, in fact her Spring box had much nicer things than mine. I hope the next one will make up for this one since I see many customers were very unhappy with this one. I am giving it one more chance before I decide to cancel

I ordered the winter box for my twin sister with the intent to cancel after it was received. She absolutely LOVED it, so I thought I'd stay on and keep the spring box for myself. What an absolute disappointment and waste of money! There is nothing in the box that I would want or use. Further, I have 3 daughters, ages 30, 30, & 21, and they didn't want any of it, either. The only thing that proved to be of value was the ridiculous cactus cup which delighted my 3 y/o granddaughter...so, I guess thanks for that.

I didn’t get the email to customize the spring box, I double check it, no email. I am so disappointed in the box, what am I supposed to do with a cactus cup? It’s ugly!! Most of the items remain in the box, I’m not sure what to do with it, I received duplicates of things I already have. I don’t think I want to renew

Just renewed my annual subscription after a long break. I didn't see the poor reviews until after. Very nervous about the current boxes. I was basing my decision on my previous experience with FFF and now not sure about my decision. Hope I am not disappointed.

I do not feel so bad now about my reaction to this box, obviously many others thought it was horrible too! I agree with the other members feedback that the quality/content has been going downhill over the past year or so. I have been an Annual Member for several years and will not be renewing my membership based on the latest content of the boxes.

I have been a member for over 2 years. The quality of the items has been declining. This last box was ridiculous and full of useless things. I did customize but received tweezers and a plastic cup? In the beginning I loved everything I was receiving and even talked my daughter into joining. She received an empty container of eye serum in her box. I am holding out that the summer box will make up for the disappointment of the last few boxes, If not, I'm out. Do better!

I was not a fan of this box. I almost cancelled at the beginning of the year, but then remembered how excited I was when my seasonal boxes came in. I was not excited when I opened this one...If the summer box offers the same disappointment, I will definitely cancel.

I too was thinking I might upgrade to annual, but after this box I may just cancel! Some of the items in this box were just ridiculous. I actually thought I might be missing some items because my box was delivered with huge tears in it. It was just gaping open, but when I got online to check I was shocked to see that everything was there. I joined because my sister has been a member for a while and some of the stuff she’s gotten in her past boxes were really cool, but even she said she was very disappointed in this box.

I liked the box. I’ve been wanting to try a sanitizer for my phone, so I was happy to get that. I love planners and really like the colorful and fun planner. The Chloe D ring is pretty and I’ll wear it, but I don’t think it’s worth the $75 list price.

I am in complete agreement about the cactus cup! It looks like something that would be in an Oriental Trading Company catalog. I am going to cancel my subscription and find something else To spend my $$ on. The last couple of boxes have been subpar at best and reading all these comments, I don’t think I am in the minority who thinks this.

I’ve been a member for a couple of years. Always happy with items I’ve received. What happened with the spring box? I hardly received anything it wasn’t packed like it has been in the past. Very, very disappointed. If the same thing happens on the next box I’m canceling. I was going to upgrade, but it all depends on what I receive on the next box.

I just signed up and received my 1st “Spring” box . Not as good as I hoped for. Disappointed with the cactus cup. It was kinda strange to send to a cheap cup like that to adults. Not sure if I will continue with this subscription. I may try 1 more box but based on these reviews ....I’m kinda hesitant!?!

I have not been happy with my last couple of boxes. (I’ve been a member for 2 years plus ) this one is the worst. These are not cheap boxes for a subscription. A pad of paper. Bar of soap. A sanitizer. And really??? The cactus cup is kind of an insult to adult women. I am cancelling my subscription effective now.

I just received my box. Sorry to say greatly disappointed!! Actually thought that it had been opened and gone through because it wasn't package nicely like it usually is...everything was just tossed in the box. When I picked it up it sounded like a box of loose and broken parts. Not sure I received everything either. I do look forward to these boxes and this one was not like the others. I will wait for my summer box if it's not better sadly I will have to cancel my subscription. (Also The "cactus cup" sorry to say but that is total Carnival quality..hahaha you may want to not get those again. Yikes!!)

This spring box was a total disappointment. I was never notified of customization. Most of the items are in my Goodwill donation box. My husband bought me an annual subscription for Mother's Day last year. I don't think I'm going to have him renew.

Disappointed in the items chosen for me. The cactus cup was very disappointing. It reminds me of cups that used to be served with kid meals. So sad. These boxes aren't cheap. I don't wear hair clips or use beauty rounds either.

I am an annual member and like so many others, I was completely disappointed! I was unable to customize because when I tried, everything included an upcharge which had never happened before. Everything I received in the box was total CRAP that was very poor quality. I am seriously thinking about cancelling my membership. If the Summer Box is as disappointing as the Spring Box I will definitely be canceling my membership!! They need someone in quality control!

Very disappointed in this box. I did not get some of the things I chose. I got the ugly, uncomfortable pink fuzzy slippers, at least I think they are slippers (I hate pink). I put them in the donation bag to Goodwill. I bought the annual subscription and I plan on cancelling.

I picked what I wanted when customization opened. I did not receive some of what I selected. So they replaced with (I guess) what they had left. I pay yearly for this. I was happy last year, but I have to say I was disappointed in this Spring box. I do love the Argon oil and the indoor basil grower. But other than that, I gave everything else away to my daughters. I hope the next box is better.

I've had the yearly subscription, going on the 2nd year now. I think only once got to pick and then there wasn't much left. Email notified of date and then when I go there, nope too late. So I decided to just let them surprise me. The cactus cup was a real low I've got to say. Otherwise, it's just for fun.

Horrible box! What am I honestly going to do with an ugly cactus cup that is worth about a dollar? I ended up putting it in the recycle bin. I would never take this embarrassing phallic symbol anywhere. I honestly have no idea how they choose what we want but the clips I received will not work in my hair... To be honest, I have been choosing the best of the worst items… This is only my second box and I signed up for a year. I feel terrible I spent so much money receiving things that will not work for me.

I missed customization but trusted I would still get awesome stuff like I did last year. WRONG! I LITERALLY GAVE EVERYTHIBG IN MY BIX TO MY 21 YR OLD DAUGHTER. Even she said " mom really? A cactus cup?" We have that cup to a 4 year old who loved it. I pay anually because I loved the boxes last year. Whomever is the buyer for these boxes this year needs to be fired. AWFUL DOLLAR STORE CRAP.

I signed up as an annual member with the Winter box and loved the box! I did receive the email for customization for the Spring box -though many did not. Was disappointed though as I opened it the 1st day customization was open and had my eye on several of the options. However, when I went back the next day to choose, many of the options were no longer available!??? So I paid for a couple of items just to get a few of the things I wanted. To say I was disappointed with the Spring box is an understatement! That cactus cup? Honestly? Dollar store trash! I will see what the next box offers - but am seriously considering canceling my annual subscription as I'm not a fan of paying for junk in a box. Get your act together FFF!

I personally really liked this box! I got an email and customized my box. I ADORE the tray slippers, aloe socks, and hat I received. And all of my friends who watch the unboxing I made also thought the box was really good and even asked me about the few of the things I recieved. With that being said though, if I recieved that ugly, waste of space, cheap catus cup I wouldn't have been happy. That is easily the worse thing someone could get in there box and I would be just as mad as everyone else if I got it. This is a box that seems to be curated for women in their 20s-early 40s. Why would anyone in that age group what that cup??? And tweezers? Seriously who would want to receive tweezers when they can just go to the dollar store and pick up one, that are actually just as good quality. I'm lucky I'm an annual member and was able to opt out of that option. And this nail polish shade is lowkey very ugly. For my dark skin I feel like it makes my nails look pastie. A pastel green, blue or purple would have been a better color that would suit all skin tones. But I was happier to receive the nail polish and give it to my lighter tone friends then to receive the makeup wipes because I don't wear make up. I just feel like this company gathers enough of our information (such as our age and the things we like to receive) to know not to put certain things in people's box's. Again, I loved this box! And I'm gonna use everything I recieved. I giving my box a 9.5/10 and so would my friends. But if i had received that stupid cup, tweezers or those ugly, childish looking hair clips, I would have given this box a much lower rating. I hope you guys actually read these comments and take them into consideration for the next box.

I'm a new member with an annual membership.i loved everything in my winter and spring boxes with the exception of the hair clips. I would have preferred something sparkly... more grown up. I did receive an email when it was time to customize. I get emails all the time. I get excited when UPS drops off my box. I'll more than likely renew next year. I still have my summer box to receive.after i get that I'll decide if I'll renew. ???? so far ???? and ❤ FFF!

All of these comments shocked me! I didn’t get the email to customize my box and I was super disappointed in it. There is 1 thing I would use. I’m a annual member and I’m honestly thinking I may cancel because of how disappointed I was in this box.

I also did not get an email for customization for this box. I was extremely disappointed in the contents of my box this time. I am considering canceling my annual membership if their is no choice in what is in the box. There was virtually nothing that I wanted in the Spring Box.

Stop sending junk in the boxes... who is the overpaid corporate buyer that thinks cactus cups are cool, let alone worth the $20 value it states on the site? (BS)! I agree with everyone else that the boxes are getting worse... and are full of non want-able items. If you can’t get your hands on, at least quality items to put in the boxes... just go out of business and put yourself out of ur own misery. I upgraded to an annual. I have 1 more box in my subscription. I’m anticipating that it’s gonna be crap and I will be canceling.

I have been a member for about a year and a half (maybe more) and have always looked forward to my boxes. I haven't necessarily liked every item I have recieved but I really did like them. This last box was horrible. I will use maybe 2 things out of it. And seriously, a plastic cactus cup? I don't even know who I could gift that to. I have ALWAYS received a customization email. I didn't this time. I don't wear barrettes, or 'clips' as you call them, the hat is an ugly pattern and not my style at all, and I don't wear hair scarves. The bag is ok but what can I put in it?! It's useless to me. I am so very sad. This is the one thing I can look forward to as I really don't ever receive any other "gifts" throughout the year.

I am an annual member and loved everything in my box. Looking forward to the Summer Box. I get an email to let me know when it is time to customize and to get the add ins. Awesome FFF! Love it.

I am on my 2nd box. The first sucked. Send like a lot of chunk. My spring box came last week and it was not even mine. Nothing I ordered. They said I would get mine by the 9th. Still no box as of today. I am totally bummed about ask this. Definitely will not recommend anyone. Pretty sad...

I agree with many of the comments! This was a disappointment- I don’t know what happened to customization- I also ended up with the cactus cup- what a cheap waste of money! Considering cancellation.

I canceled my subscription after the fall box, so I did not receive the email for the spring box customization and now I see that they did not cancel my subscription! WTH? Where is the phone number to speak with CS? Obviously the electronic communication is not working! Ridiculous!

I was a member for over a year. I got good stuff and bad stuff. I canceled because the last 2 boxes I had received were terrible. I was coming on to reactivate my account until I read all these comments. Sounds like the boxes are getting worse, instead of better.

I too am extremely upset. I canceled my subscription in February. I don't use half this stuff they send I never got an email from them to customize or any email for that fact. I contacted the company they said I customized my box! How when I never got notice of it. I am going to dispute the charge.

My first year as an annual member I was pretty impressed so I continued with my membership. Since then the last three boxes have been a disappointment. They seem to get worse and worse. Is it the pandemic? Are companies not offering big enough discounts to buy descent items in bulk so we get cheap crap and a lot the same stuff from different companies in every box? How many hand creams and facial masks/scrubs do I need? There was some stuff I regifted at Christmas but some stuff has just been donated or is sitting collecting dust. My Spring box was delivered to someone else which was the shipping companies fault but I saw what was in that box on the app and now that a new box has been sent I’m hoping I don’t get that cactus cup this time now that the good stuff has been sent out but I also hope they swap out the hair clips that were in the last box. I’m 43, not 7. I don’t get these items that keep getting thrown in the mix that look like they are for kids. I’m spending my money on these boxes for me. A grown woman, not the kids.

I received an email about add ons and customization. I logged on right at 9am to choose what I wanted and got everything I wanted. If you feel you didn’t get an email then check your spam folder. Even if I don’t receive everything that I normally wouldn’t use, it is still worth every penny of the $49.99. I save things I wouldn’t use for Christmas gifts. I’m a seasonal member.

I canceled over the spring box - never got an email to customize even tho I’m an annual select member. Spend ur money w a company that can leverage their data analytics to better serve their customers ladies. After 9 boxes aka going into my 3rd year they should know I’m not gonna want a fugly cactus cup..really ever, but at the very least not after getting a water bottle in my last box. There is ZERO curation and I think a lot of long time members like me are tired of getting stuck w a bunch of crap other companies can’t sell on their own.

I was disappointed with the box this quarter compared to previous boxes, but unlike others, I was able to customize mine. I feel like the options this time lacked inspiration and what I got as my surprises didn’t excite me. I hope next box will be better.

I had to open the app to find out when the add on was happening, then I checked it almost daily for the customization but must've missed it, just checked what I'm getting and it's nothing I would've picked out. Can we sign up to receive texts? Because I didn't find anything in my junk emails even. Or just have it on the same day (the first of the month) so there's less confusion.

I got a notification about the add in sale and then the next day about customizations amd I'm not an annual member but got to pick 3 options that I wanted and got them all! Did those of u that didmt get emails about customization day chexk yourspam folders?? I always do especially cause I find gmail puts email that I've approved in spam sometimes not matter what! Loved this box thia is my 3rd box amd love love the add on sales!!

It’s just more of the same types of items just from different companies. Can we talk about the cactus sipper? I mean come on, I can buy this item for my 5 year old at the dollar tree. Well, I wondered what had happened. I thought that I had just missed the notification for box customization because of all the spinning plates I have had in the air. This was definitely not top of the totem pole as far as priorities. I love my FFF box, but my Fabulous Freaking Family has been in 911 mode. It is definitely a disappointment to not have been able to pick out my own stuff. I liked what was picked for me for the most part although a couple of things would have undoubtedly been different had I been able to choose. If anyone wants a cactus cup....! Wow! Hope this was a one time screw up. We certainly all make those. Still a FFF fan. Hoping to stay one. ;)

Same issue as everyone on here... I had no prompting or notification to customize my spring box. Just received a notice that I was billed and that they chose “surprise me” for customization. This was NOT a choice that I made. Also, then comes the notice that there will be a huge delay in shipping due to COVID. Sorry folks but that’s really nothing positive every which way you look at it. Doubtful that anyone is excited to receive their “non customized” boxes... oh.. and also a month late. There are so many new companies now offering similar services. Lots of competition. Would be nice for the original FFFB to still be the leader, the best of the best, and to be getting these orders right and offering exemplary customer service. I am inclined to do the same as many on this thread are saying... and that is to cancel my subscription.

Haven’t been able to customize since and didn’t even receive the credit i was promised through their own promotion. I have contacted them via the help section. If they do not rectify their mistake, I will cancel my subscription as well. This is indeed very disappointing.

Just received an invoice for $174+ in add ones that I did not order! I don’t have a king size bed, why would I order king sheets? Coco floss mint? I do not even know what that is. I knew choice option would open late January to mid February but couldn't find the selection section at all online and by the time I called customer service it was to late to pick by a week.

I was very surprised when I received my spring box today. I have been a annual member for several years, and I also did not receive an email notifying me that customization was open, when billing would occur, when the box would ship, etc. I am not happy with some of the items that were included in my box, especially now seeing what I could've chosen from. I'm seriously considering cancelling my membership.

There is plenty of communication from FFT not sure why people not able to customize they send dates you can contact them the customer service is amazing they are always so helpful I love the box to pick options with a nice element of surprise. If by chance items they pick not suitable I always have somebody I can give them to I think this one of these subscriptions out there price wise and quality !

I just switched from seasonal to annual membership. I loved being seasonal and the annual membership is truly over the top. The choices were so great it was hard to pick one from each section, I wanted EVERYTHING!! I’m looking forward to the Spring box, it does feel like Christmas!

I am surprised to hear so many people saying they weren’t able to customize their box. I’ve been a member for a couple years and have never had a problem with that. They always send one or more emails letting me know when the add on sale opens and when customization opens. There are great bargains so I am very happy with it. I do agree that it would be nice if annual members could choose all options. It’s not possible for them to know which item is best for us. I am 67 years old, so I better not get the barrettes or cactus sippy cup! ????

My only complaint is with the timeliness of shipping and being delivered. Also, it would be nice to be able to customize all choices for annual members. There are always items wasted that are chosen for me. Why insist on sending us stuff we might not want, instead of letting us choose??? I'm on the fence about renewing.

I LOVE Fabfitfun boxes, I have had zero issue's with my annual membership. I check emails & set reminders to watch for customization. If I get something I don't need I just give it to someone who does! Can't wait to get my Spring box & all my add ons!

I didn’t get an email to let me know customization was open. By the time I checked half the options were sold out. Also, when I signed up for the annual membership this time, I did it because they were offering a free sample box for anyone signing up. I didn’t receive this. I was also sent the winter box without getting a chance to pick options. I will not be renewing my subscription.

To those who wish to cancel, go to your account page, and I believe if you go to your subscription/Orders tab you will see an option below your orders box. If will say something like "Canvle my subscription". I hope Tha helps. And I am very sorry to all who had issues, or couldn't customize at all. Specially after upgrading. If it helps, I want at all thrilled by the customizations and thankfully my year is up after this box. Just an idea, but if you weren't able to customize your box, but you haven't actually received your box yet. Maybe ask if you can skip it all together because of the issues, and whether or not you can use that box credit at the seasonal add on sale.

I upgraded from a seasonal membership to an annual membership for a certain price after I received a promotional email. I was charged way over the price it stated, and I am not able to customize my box. If that’s the case, then I’d like to just go back to seasonal membership & get back all the money that I was just charged!
