The Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, bunny-inspired baskets, and pastel-colored gifts can only mean one thing – Easter is right around the corner!

From painting eggs to decorating cookies, we compiled a list of fun-filled activities, so you and your family can have a hoppy Easter together.

Dye Easter eggs
Who said tie-dying was just for clothing? Whether you decide to use stencils or completely DIY it, the egg decorating options are endless. After the eggs dry, use it to give your dining room table an egg-stra special touch.

Head to a petting zoo
Spring is the perfect time to spend time with some furry friends at a petting zoo. Let your kids touch and play with bunnies, sheep, and more as you watch their faces light up. Make sure to bring your camera because these are memories you won’t want to forget.

Decorate Easter cookies
Sweeten up your holiday with cookies that look just as good as it tastes. Opt for classic sugar cookie dough, Easter-themed cookie cutters, and pastel frostings, sprinkles, and garnishes for a festive touch. If you have leftovers, pack it into Easter baskets to give to family and friends. It’s a batch made in heaven!

Get creative with coloring
Embark on an Easter coloring extravaganza! Lay out a bunch of Easter-themed coloring books and printouts with an assortment of colored pencils, crayons, markers, paint, stickers, and glitter. Encourage your kids to get creative and let their imagination soar. They can even turn their artwork into cards that your family can donate to a local nonprofit, hospital, or nursing home.

Host Easter brunch
From cheesy spinach frittatas to decadent French toast sticks, fruit salads, and ooey-gooey cinnamon rolls, sometimes, brunch at home is even better than at the restaurant. Download some kid-friendly recipes and plan out your menu ahead of time for a brunch that will be just as memorable as the infamous Easter Bunny picture. Involve your little ones in the cooking process and let them taste test the ingredients as you go. Just don’t forget the mimosas for the adults!
