Getting tired of your usual green smoothies? We had the pleasure of speaking with Registered Dietician, Danielle Omar (who is a spokesperson and gives amazing health tips over at Cal-EZ) about her favorite breakfast meals, and this smoothie happens to be one of her go-tos!

Smoothies that are tasty but not too loaded with sugar (as many smoothies can tend to be) are best. When a blend is made up of predominantly of tropical fruits, it usually has more sugar than the average person needs to consume in a day, yikes!

Danielle explains the importance of consuming hemp seeds, especially for vegetarians and vegans looking to find more plant-based protein. The hemp seeds added provide good fats like omega 3, plus tons of vegan protein. Hemp is also very easily digested, which helps you to stay satisfied without the bloat.

The wild blueberries and fresh greens add a punch of antioxidants, while natural sugars from the banana and dates energize and get you ready to take on the day! Head over to Danielle’s website to get more nutritional recipes and tips to add to your lifestyle!
