Sure, last night’s MTV Video Music Awards were filled with jaw-dropping performances and awkward moments (aka Britney Spears avoiding G-Eazy’s smooch), but all we were thinking about was the fashion.
It was music’s biggest night so you know stars were going to bring out their best. Check out our fave outfits below:
Blue Ivy Carter
How adorable is Blue Ivy in her sequined ballerina gown? Plus, her sequined crown and edgy sneakers definitely stole the show.
Beyoncé
While her daughter stole her spotlight, the Queen looked just as flawless. Who else could rock a feathered collar?
Nicki Minaj
The rapper looked stunning in a blue floor-length gown, complete with sexy cutouts. We can always count on Minaj to look classy yet sexy AF.
Cassie
We’ll admit the singer’s look was a bit risky, but she pulled it off (duh!). We love the blazer and sleek pants combo and the gold sheen complimented her bright green hair.
Ariana Grande
How cute is Ariana?! We’re obsessed with her off-the-shoulder crop top, proving that the trend isn’t out of style just yet. Her bangs added a flirty flair to her outfit, too.
Alicia Keys
The singer is absolutely stunning with or without makeup. She rocked a natural look complete with a red and black embroidered gown.
Team USA Gymnasts
These girls killed it out on the mat and they killed it out on the red carpet. And of course, how can we not expect Aly, Madison, Laurie, and Simone to not rock some sort of sequins on their gorgeous dresses!
Halsey
She not only dominated her performance with The Chainsmokers, she also looked amazing in her sequined jumpsuit. We’re in love with the contrast of her dark hair and makeup with the bright number.
Heidi Klum
Um, the model never ever fails to impress. She was bronzed and flawless in a peachy-nude sequined dress. And who else can look as good in a sleek pony?
