Why do you think it’s important for women to be in positions of leadership?
When women lead, incredible things happen.
What does success mean to you?
At The Little Market, we measure success by positive impact. Our mission is to empower women in need through dignified job opportunities.
What kind of legacy do you hope to leave for women in your industry?
I hope that women realize that people and the planet should come before profit.
What’s the best advice you could ever give?
Be true to yourself and your values. You will never regret doing the right thing.

How do you drown out the negative criticism and stay authentic to yourself?
I surround myself with positive people. I believe that energy is contagious and so it’s important to choose the people in your life thoughtfully. My friends are my sounding board and have always been so supportive.
What are three words that best describe you?
According to Lauren [Conrad], “kind, selfless, and understanding.”
How do you define happiness?
For me happiness is doing what I love with people I love.
When things get crazy, what’s one thing you always remember to do for yourself?
Exercise. As crazy as it sounds, my thoughts are most clear while I am working out.
What’s the first thing you do every morning?
Drink coffee! I am trying to drink less but…
