Ah, airplane bathrooms. We need you, but we hate you, but we need you.
But germaphobes can now rejoice because Boeing has found the perfect solution for our love/hate relationship — an ultraviolet light that kills 99.9% of germs. Yep, Boeing is testing far UV lights (that literally make germs explode) that can clean an airplane bathroom is three seconds. It’s so thorough, it even lifts the toilet seat up during the cleaning process (hallelujah).
Other improvements include no touch faucet, trash can, and hand dryer.
The concept is still being tested by Boeing, but we sure hope it happens before we book our next flight.
