Smithsonian National Zoo
The panda who caught the nation’s attention by rolling around in the snow has stolen our hearts once again. The Smithsonian National Zoo released a video of their resident male panda Tian Tian taking a bath last week and we can’t get over the sudsy cuteness.
The keepers gave him a tub of water with non-toxic bubble bath soap and he got to scrubbing! The Smithsonian noted on their Facebook page that “Pandas do not bathe regularly in the wild, but when Tian Tian is in rut — meaning he’s exhibiting behaviors associated with breeding season — he especially likes to play in water.”
