You’ve been waiting for this day: the day where you shamelessly just say FTW and splurge on products you’ve had your eye on for months. Repeatedly you think to yourself, “Do I really need this? Which one is actually worth it?”
Treat yoself girl, we support you. And while we do not condone going into debt, we do believe that it’s totally okay (even healthy), to indulge every once in a while. You worked for it!
Sometimes it can be difficult narrowing down which products exactly you should buy (there are so many to choose from after all, and you’re not a freakin’ bank!). Below are beauty products we’ve tried, and can legitimately say have upped our beauty game immensely.
Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel $50
A cream bronzer worth every penny. This baby is the most natural-looking makeup product out there! Apply by itself for a gorgeous natural glow, or top with powder to make a more dramatic look for an evening out!
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel $88
These anti-aging exfoliating peels take the cake at clearing clogged pores and rejuvenating the entire visage! Alpha hydroxy acid keeps the skin balanced, nourished, luminous, and all around amazing. This peel is perfect for all skin types.
The Mason Pearson Hairbrush $105-150
We know what you’re thinking: why the hell would you spend so much money on a hairbrush?! Well for starters, this brush will last you forever (20+ years). The bristles are tailored for your particular hair type, and are famous for getting your hair to grow longer and stronger. The bristles are made to stimulate the oils in your scalp to make it healthy.
Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting $52
A liquid highlight that has literally been sent from the heavens to give you life! The formula is so incredible. It melts onto your face and literally makes you look like you’re naturally beaming from within. You can use as a highlight on the high points of your face alone, or use as a primer after you moisturize to give a very soft and beautiful glow.
Arcona Eye Dew Plus $95
This magical gel is simply stellar. Formulated for those battling wrinkles and discoloration, this eye dew really works. No harmful ingredients in this bad boy either, just pure vitamin goodness and instant results. We’re calling this a definite must have!
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder $38
A cult favorite by almost every makeup artist and beauty guru, this powder is fantastic. The ultra fine milled powder prevents under eye creasing, and absorbs any excess oil left on the face after applying makeup. It is the absolute best option for those who like to “bake” their faces and the powder keeps makeup looking flawless all day and night!
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation $48
You know we had to include our favorite foundation right?! The Chanel Aqua foundation has the perfect amount of coverage to give you that no makeup-makeup look, while still covering any blemishes or imperfections on the skin. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way, so you’ll for sure be getting your money’s worth!
