Surprise, surprise! Apple isn’t ditching their smaller iPhone models just yet. Apple revealed the new iPhone SE this morning during their March live stream along with a few other updates, including the new iPad Pro.
This 4-inch device is extremely similar to the iPhone 5S in relation to the display and resolution. However, it will be able to harness Apple’s most recent technology including iOS 9 and the 12-megapixel iSight camera from the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Now you don’t have to sacrifice your Instagram photo quality for a smaller, more convenient iPhone.
iPhone SE will come in four colors: gold, silver, rose gold, and space gray — and will be available in 16GB ($399) or 64GB ($499) in over 110 countries by the end of May.
It’s a great day for iPhone users who have been hopeful for the return of smaller models that can keep up with Apple’s newest software. What are your thoughts on Apple’s newest iPhone? Let us know in the comments below!
