Why do you think it’s important for women to be in positions of leadership?
It’s important to shift stereotypical ideas around gender roles. We want our children to see men and women in a diversity of roles and that means women being everything from the breadwinner in the family to the CEO of a company, in high ranking political positions, and beyond.
What does success mean to you?
I’m constantly setting goals for myself to achieve. These goals – no matter how small or large – translate into happiness and success.
What kind of legacy do you hope to leave for women in your industry?
I want women to know that no matter your degree, experience, or upbringing, you can do anything you set your mind to.
What’s the best advice you could ever give?
Ask for help, and don’t be scared. Reach out to everyone you know when you need a connection or guidance. You never know unless you give it a try.
