Are you putting off your workout because you can’t stand the mere thought of it? We know, we know…laziness sometimes gets the best of us, but we’ve got a few ways to help you beat it (at least when it comes to your exercise routine).

Try these tricks to get yourself stoked for your next sweat sesh!

Create the ultimate playlist. If your current playlist has been on repeat for a month’s worth of cardio, you’re overdue on some new tunes. Pick a few of your current favorite songs and switch them out every two weeks or so. You’d be surprised at how fast time flies when you’re working out to newer music.

Make it a date. While working out with your S.O. can be exciting, that’s not the kind of date we mean. We know how hard it can be to coordinate busy schedules to meet up with your friends. Instead of going to the gym and then meeting up afterward for dinner, schedule a walk with a friend you haven’t seen in a while. You can chat and catch up while burning some calories!

Change it up. You might be dreading your next workout because you’re bored with your routine — so try something new! The change will not only be good for your body, but you’ll also rediscover a new passion or reason to work out. Are you a cardio junkie? Try some strength training. Into yoga? Give spin class a go. If you can’t decide, sign up for FabFitFun TV — it’s an online fitness library filled with all kinds of workout videos from HIIT to yoga so you can choose what workouts you want to do, whenever and wherever.

Pick the right reward. We all need a bit of motivation here and there to get out of an exercise slump. Just make sure you choose something that doesn’t totally offset all the hard work you just did. Treat yourself to a mani or a nice full-body massage. If the workout is all that’s standing between you and your reward, you’ll be more likely to put your all into your sweat sesh.

Pick something fun. Working out doesn’t have to be all work and no play. Want to work on your arms? Try out therow machine. Want to dance it out? Start taking tap classes or try Body By Simone’s workouts on FabFitFun TV. You’ll be having so much fun that you’ll look forward to your workout every week.
