Full lashes are everything right now. Not only do they frame your gorgeous eyes, but they can also amplify your look with just a few swipes of mascara.

Look your best wherever you go with our tips on how to get the fullest lashes ever (no lash extensions needed)!

Pick a mascara that does both. Your mascara should a) have an amazing brush that can reach even your inner most lashes and b) contain the best of the best formula. Our pick? The incredible Butter London Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara (featured in our FabFitFun Winter Box). The formula conditions and separates your eyelashes, while the body of the brush voluminizes and lifts and the ball defines and separates.

Curl, curl, curl. Eyelash curlers are essential when it comes to making your lashes appear fuller. Make sure the base of your lashes are in the curler and hold it down for up to 10 seconds. Feel free to do this a couple more times to enhance the curl. Or if you just want to curl the tips, place the curler halfway from the base.

Heat up your eyelash curler. It sounds scary, but it really works. Point the blowdryer on the metal part of your eyelash curler for about five to seven seconds. Then curl your lashes very carefully (don’t touch the curler to your skin!). It basically acts as a mini curling iron for your lashes!

Use an eyelash primer. Just like a foundation primer, using an eyelash primer can make a huge difference in the look and lasting power of the product. This one from Butter London coats your lashes in nylon fibers to create amazing length and volume and conditions them with nourishing ingredients like Pro-Active Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Wheat Amino Acids.

Curl those lashes again. That’s right. Contrary to popular belief, you can curl your lashes after you apply mascara. The main problem with doing it in the first place is that your curler might stick to the mascara and break or rip out your lashes. Wait until your mascara is completely dry to gently curly your lashes at the tip.

Swipe right. The key to voluminous eyelashes is in your swiping skills (and no, we aren’t talking about dating apps!). First, we suggest wiggling the brush from left to right to get an even coat. Then swipe, swipe, swipe up from your tips to get that extra length. Let it dry and go in for another coat if you want to step up your look from day to night.

Don’t forget the bottom lashes. Applying mascara to your bottom lashes can make all the difference! It’ll really open up your eyes and complete your full lash look. Plus, the wand on the Butter London Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara has a ball on the tip, making it much easier to apply it to those shorter lashes without getting it all over your face.
