As if we didn’t already love Starbucks’ diverse array of macchiato options, the coffee empire just introduced two flavors of the Cloud Macchiato, and it has us in coffee heaven.
Inspired by meringue milk, a popular summer drink in Barcelona, Spain, both the Caramel Cloud Macchiato and Cinnamon Cloud Macchiato start with Starbucks’ newest development, a super fluffy Cloud foam topping that’s made with egg white powder (weird, we know, but it’s so good). The Caramel Cloud Macchiato is then combined with espresso and topped with a caramel drizzle. If you’re craving an extra kick, the Cinnamon Cloud Macchiato has a hint of cinnamon and lemon syrup in addition to the Cloud foam, espresso, and caramel.
The delightful beverage is now permanently on the menu at Starbucks locations in the U.S. and Canada.
