Do you hear those wedding bells? Jake and Vanessa are all set to walk down the aisle, but no one can get married without the essentials: something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. This week’s episode has all that and more. Find out all the wedding details here in this recap of Till Death Do Us Part.

Something Old
Secrets from Jake’s past are finally revealed. As a boy, he endured an abusive father who beat Jake’s mother and raped Jake’s sister. Jake’s sister eventually commits suicide after aborting her baby. Naturally, Jake grows up to have some pretty serious anger issues that land him in jail. Enter Rowan. Rowan and his effective methods, a.k.a. throwing people in a hole, mold Jake into the perfect B613 agent. Jake accepts his place after visiting his childhood home and shooting his father.

Something New
Olivia is devastated after killing Andrew in cold blood — or is she? After a meeting with Quinn and Huck, Olivia reveals that her plan is working perfectly, and she is close to finding out what Jake and Rowan are planning. The big secret? Rowan is planning to make Jake the vice president on Edison’s ticket.

Something Borrowed
After revealing the big plan, Jake admits he doesn’t love Vanessa and wants out. Olivia and Jake rekindle their relationship, but there is one major problem: Rowan. Team OPA decides that in order to win, Jake will leave Vanessa at the altar. No one would ever vote for a guy that ditched his bride in front of 600 people. Turns out, Jake and Olivia are just living on borrowed time.

Something Blue
Rowan knows exactly what’s going on. He tells Olivia that if she doesn’t break Jake’s heart, Rowan will slit Jake’s throat. Rowan would rather Jake be dead than mediocre — not the kind of wedding toast Olivia was hoping for. Olivia breaks it off with Jake by telling Jake she still is and will always be in love with Fitz. Though Jake hesitates before saying, “I do”, he goes through with the wedding. There’s a triumphant Papa Pope at the end of all this, but there are two broken hearts.
