Cue Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven Is a Place on Earth” because we are on cloud nine with this genius puppies and wedding combination! No, this isn’t the next Air Bud: The Wedding feature film — it’s pictures from an actual wedding that are going viral for the cutest reason ever. Sarah Mallouk Crain works at a non-profit organization in central Pennsylvania called Pitties Love Rescue which is dedicated to doggy rescue and rehabilitation. So when she suggested incorporating rescue puppies into their upcoming nuptials, her fiancé, Matt Crain was completely on board.
The groomsmen clearly had no problem with the playful pups sharing the spotlight with them on this big day. “It was a dream for everyone!” photographer Caroline Logan told FOX59. It’s easy to see why this is going up on our top wedding do’s right next to the doughnut wall.
“Having something to divert attention from that uncomfortable ‘Oh my goodness, I’m getting my picture taken… what do I do with my hands?!” Logan described about having puppies instead of flowers. She also added that it helped ease the bridal party, but then again that’s just the power of puppies.
Martha, Abigail, Dolley, Elizabeth, and Louisa are only 8 weeks old and are named after First Ladies of the United States. Lucky for us these puppies are up for adoption. To adopt just fill out an application here.
