Haters gonna hate, but hurtful comments don’t affect this Miss Italy contestant.
Paola Torrente won second place for the title of Miss Italy but people, including a contestant’s mother, still went on to body-shame her. She’s a size 14 which is actually smaller than the average U.S. size of 16 to 18. Yep, people are being ridiculous.
However, Torrente shot back at haters and told The Daily Mail
I embrace my curves at 360 degrees, and I’m never ashamed of them. I want to tell young women to accept themselves and to understand that feeling good and being happy is the most powerful thing to fight people’s words and thoughts.
