Your one-stop shop for affordable furniture is staying on top of the tech game with their latest app, IKEA Place.
Thanks to Apple’s latest iOS update and ARKit, the Scandinavian furniture chain was able to create an app that allows you to virtually design your home without ever leaving the house.
The app currently features over 2,000 products from IKEA’s catalog including sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, storage units, and more for you to see what a piece of furniture might look like in your own home.
To use, scan the floor in your place and browse the list of products available in the app. Select a product, and you can tap and drag the product around in your virtual space. Pretty cool, right?
The app is available to download now in the App Store. Don’t forget to update your device to iOS 11 if you want to experience the app!
