The end of 2016 is drawing near, and you know what that means…it’s time to bust out your champagne flutes and get ready for holiday events galore.
We’ve partnered with Cottonelle® to host a ‘90s-themed party in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of our coveted Winter Box. We’re talking a friendship bracelet station and a performance by O-Town! So, of course, feeling confident is an absolute must. Here are our hacks to help you look and feel your best at all of your holiday events.
Give Your Dress a Test-Run
We all love the feeling of slipping into a brand new dress, but you may want to give your outfit a test-run by wearing it at home a few days before your event. This will allow you to make sure you’re comfortable sitting, standing, walking, and dancing (yes, we want you to dance around your room!). Figure out if any alterations or wardrobe adjustments need to be made before you strut out the door.
Go Commando
Yes, we said it. Skin tight dresses tend to show everything, so our trick is to eliminate the lines. Cottonelle® CleanRipple® Texture is designed to clean better† — so you can go commando and rock your look with clean confidence. Pack an Emergency Kit
Smudged makeup, wine stains, a little phenomenon we like to call “dance floor hair” — you’ll want to be prepared for these types of mishaps at your party. We like to pack a tiny emergency kit with “just-in-case” essentials:
- Mascara and a cotton swab
- A sample of your foundation
- A needle and thread to match your outfit
- 3 safety pins
- A bleach pen for stains
- 5 bobby pins
Take a Selfie
You were probably going to do this anyway, but snapping a selfie in good lighting will remind you of what a goddess you are, and give you that confidence boost you need. Plus, if you get caught up partying the night away, you’ll at least have one picture to remember how fab you felt.
