The biggest day of the year in music will soon be upon us…the 59th Annual Grammy Awards! And we’re so stoked to see our favorite celebs on the red carpet and hear the epic speeches (although, nothing can top Kanye interrupting Taylor).

But let’s discuss what viewers are really anticipating, which is whether Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” or Adele’s “25” will take home the coveted “Album of the Year” award.

To make things a bit more interesting, the Patina Restaurant Group created two delicious beverages inspired by the albums. So whether you’re rooting for Queen Bey or Adele, sip on these drinks to toast your favorite artist!

Becky’s Lemonade

Ingredients
2-3 blackberries
Handful fresh mint
3/4 ounce simple syrup
3/4 ounce lemon juice
1 1/2 ounces whiskey
Soda water

Directions
1. In a shaker tin, add blackberries and mint and muddle.
2. Add the whiskey, simple syrup, and lemon. Shake with ice and pour everything into an old fashioned glass.
3. Top with ice and top the drink with soda water and garnish.

Love in the Dark

Ingredients
2 ounces gin
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce lavender syrup*
1 tablespoon activated charcoal
1 egg white

Directions
1. In a shaker, dry shake (no ice) egg whites. Then add all other ingredients and dry shake again.
2. Add ice and shake a third time and double strain over a large coupe or martini glass.
3. Garnish with an edible flower.

Lavender Syrup Recipe*
Ingredients
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons dried lavender blossoms

Directions
1. Bring ingredients to a boil in a saucepan, stirring so that the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and continue stirring until all the sugar has dissolved.
2. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Remove lavender blossoms and allow syrup to cool.
3. Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated.
