Last night marked the 75th Golden Globe Awards. But unlike previous years, most attendees wore all black in support of the Time’s Up initiative. The sea of black was a representation of more than 300 people in the entertainment industry standing up against sexual harassment, assault, and inequality of women in all kinds of workplaces.

Although it was an all-black red carpet, celebs looked stunning in their monochromatic looks and proved just how versatile black can really be. Check out our favorite looks below.

Nicole Kidman

It was a big night for the Big Little Lies actress. She took home the award for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture, gave the most inspiring acceptance speech, and strutted down the red carpet in a gorgeous black Givenchy gown.

Saoirse Ronan

Ronan’s Golden Globe look was nothing short of perfection. From her slicked-back platinum blonde hair and Cartier jewels to the stunning one-shoulder Versace dress, there’s no denying she knows how to turn heads.

Reese Witherspoon

Witherspoon joined the Time’s Up movement in a custom one-shoulder Zac Posen gown that hugged her natural curves ever-so-perfectly. She kept the jewelry minimal with one bangle and statement earrings to really let the cut of the dress shine.

Tracee Ellis Ross

The Black-ish star rocked a matching black turban and gown by Marc Jacobs, and completed the look with a bold red lip. Her red carpet look is definitely one for the books!

Meryl Streep

Streep came side-by-side with the executive director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Ai-jen Poo. Streep kept the monochromatic look classic and fuss-free (no jewelry!) with an off-the-shoulder Vera Wang number.

Mandy Moore

Moore always knows how to keep it smart and chic on the red carpet. Her Rosie Assoulin gown featured a red accent belt and a halter strap that cascaded down into the most beautiful train. Oh, and her dress had pockets. #winning

Natalie Portman

“And here are all the all-male nominees.” Not only did Portman call out Hollywood’s sexism at the Golden Globes, but she also slayed the style game in a crushed velvet gown by none other than Dior.

Gal Gadot

Gadot knew just how to keep it smart yet fashionable in a Tom Ford gown and tailored jacket that highlighted her decolletage oh-so-effortlessly. She paired the whole look with a sexy red lip and Tiffany jewels.

Zoë Kravitz

This is simplicity at its best. Kravitz opted for a strapless number by Saint Laurent. The fitted bodice and long, slitted skirt helped her peep a bit of skin, which she styled with skyscraper heels. Plus, how gorgeous are those emerald green earrings?

Jessica Biel

Biel also stood in solidarity with the Time’s Up initiative in a black Dior couture ball gown, which featured tulle and velvet details. The actress also looked so happy with her hubby Justin Timberlake by her side.
