We love our tequila and mezcal so when we found out that Osteria Morini of New York City created a beverage that includes both, we had to learn more. The Fume Verde includes kicks of smoky mezcal, refreshing cucumber juice, spicy ginger, and a hint of tequila. We think this may be our marg of choice this summer!

1 ounce cucumber juice, pressed with the skin on
1⁄4 ounce Thyme Simple
1⁄2 ounce ginger syrup
3⁄4 ounce lemon juice, pulp strained
3/4 ounces Blanco Tequila
3⁄4 ounces Vida Mezcal

1. Shake, double strain over large rock in a double old ­fashioned glass
2. Rim glass with 1 inch rim of smoked salt
3. Garnish with lime wheel vertically in glass. Lightly sprinkle smoked salt over large ice
