WINTER 2017 BOX PARTNER

The DOUCCE Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette houses eight matte and shimmer shades, along with a beautiful highlight pan. It also features magnetic wells that you can switch around and replace (pretty cool, right?).

Before you create your look, just remember that everyone’s eye shape is unique. How your friend creates her smoky eye could be totally different from how you do it. Check out our tips below and be sure to share your finished look using #FabFitFun.

Monolids

Tip 1: Prime your eyes with a budge-proof eyeshadow base in order to prevent your shadows from transferring to other parts of your eye.
Tip 2: Apply dark, waterproof liners or shadows generously to the upper lash line to fully define your eyes.
Tip 3: Use light-colored eyeliners for your lower water line. A pale pink, nude, or pastel lilac color would be perfect.

Hooded lids

Tip 1: Just like with monolids, prime your eyes with a budge-proof eyeshadow base.
Tip 2: Apply your eyeshadow with your eyes open. That way you can better determine where your crease line is.
Tip 3: Take advantage of the inner corner highlight. Applying bright, shimmer shades will flatter your eye shape!

Deep set eyes

Tip 1: Avoid placing bright shimmers on your brow bone and instead apply those shades to the lid only.
Tip 2: Bring your transition colors (think neutral browns or taupes) higher above your crease and just onto the brow bone.

Protruding eyes

Tip 1: Apply dark shades all over the lid and lower water line to give the illusion of depth.
Tip 2: Focus your eyeshadow mostly on the lids and not too much on or above the crease to bring a nice balance of lid-to-brow space.

Downturned eyes

Tip 1: Go with a gradient look by placing the darkest colors on the outer eye and blending lighter colors more and more towards the inner corners until you’re left with a light and bright inner eye.
Tip 2: Mimic the same steps you do on your upper lash line to your lower lash line — darkest color on the outer part and lightest color on the inner part.

Upturned eyes

Tip 1: Simply follow the natural structure of your eye shape by focusing most of the shadows on the outer part of the lid, and then drag the colors down to the bottom lash line.
Tip 2: Apply unique and bright shades to your lower lash line to draw attention to your eyes.
