The Bride Test has been showing up on everyone’s must-read list and with good reason. It’s an unconventional romantic novel that follows Khai, an autistic man who processes emotions differently and avoids relationships. His mother travels to Vietnam to find him a bride, and what happens next is something no one, especially Khai, expects.


Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou

This is the book that started it all when it comes to Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. If you’ve listened to the podcast The Dropout and watched the TV specials, you’ll want to pick up Bad Blood to learn even more about the failure of Theranos.


Passion on Park Avenue by Lauren Layne

The first in the Central Park Pact series,  Passion on Park Avenue follows Naomi’s journey to get revenge on her childhood nemesis who set her and her mother’s life into a tailspin. In a turn of events, Naomi finds out her enemy isn’t as bad as she remembered, and she struggles with the internal battle of how to handle it. The Woman Next Door by Sue Watson

Watson stuns in another psychological thriller that will shake you to the core. Lucy is enamored with her neighbor Amber who’s also the local weather girl. The two form a quick friendship, but soon enough, Amber takes over Lucy’s life as does Amber’s stalker. The book progresses and ends up somewhere no one could’ve seen coming.
