The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

Did you know September is National Yoga Month? It’s true. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, looking for a vacation with classes or a full-on retreat, we’ve rounded up our current favorite hotels and retreat offerings. Think everything from a beachfront yoga getaway to yoga-meets-voguing with ’80s music.

Whatever the case, check out these fun yoga-centric offerings, whip out your stylish yoga mat (topped with your Summer & Rose Yoga Towel of course), and get your ‘om’ on this month!

Ritz Chicago The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago
At The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago, take vinyasa to a whole new level during National Yoga Month with scenic “Rooftop Voga” —  a fusion of yoga and voguing with ’80s music — at 4 p.m. on Fridays. Hotel guests can partake for $20 and locals can also sign up via ClassPass. Take in the unobstructed Chicago skyline views in a nostalgic leotard and leg warmers. It doesn’t get much more fun than that!

The Durham Hotel The Durham Hotel
Guests of The Durham Hotel in Durham, North Carolina can take advantage of daily (and free!) vinyasa classes from LaVita Yoga on the rooftop each morning. Take in city views, sip on complimentary infused water, and start your day off on the right foot. Not a guest? No worries. The classes are offered to locals for $10 and you can sign up online.

Westin Kaanapali The Westin Maui Resort & Spa
Yoga in paradise? Pretty much. Or as Hawaiians say, “Ke Kino Hou.” At The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, guests can take part in basic yoga and kundalini yoga classes throughout the week for $12. Major bonus point: classes are outdoors, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on your vitamin D intake.

Amansala Amansala Resort & Spa
Tulum is a yoga lover’s paradise, which is why Beach ‘n’ Bliss at Amansala Resort & Spa is top of our yoga retreat list. There are ongoing retreat dates in 2016 and 2017, making it easy to find a time that works with your schedule. It entails two yoga sessions per day, healthy (but mouthwatering) meals, a relaxing massage, the resort’s signature Mayan clay treatment, and tours of the area so you can really get a taste of the local culture.

Jumeriah Madinat Jumeirah Resort
If you’re looking for the ultimate overseas retreat, check out Jumeirah Resort’s three-day yoga retreat in Dubai. Both beginner and advanced students will enjoy amazing accommodations, a variety of indoor and outdoor yoga sessions (including sunset yoga!), a juicing class with Wellness Resort Chef Gabi Kurz, and a yoga theory seminar. Retreat dates currently include September 22 through 24 and November 24 through 26.
