We’ve been religiously using our Gypsy 05 Roundie (featured in the Spring Box and Editor’s Box) all season long. From using it as a picnic blanket to a beach throw and even as a home décor piece, there’s no denying its versatility.

But after traveling with it anywhere and everywhere, a few wrinkles and creases are bound to happen…but fear not.

Below are five tried and true methods to ensure your roundie is always wrinkle-free and ‘gram-worthy. The best part? There’s no need to pull out your iron and board!

Throw some ice in the mix. If you’re in a time crunch, throw the roundie into the dryer with some ice and set it on the highest heat. As the dryer runs, the ice will melt and steam your clothes — smoothing out unwelcome wrinkles.

Roll it up. The key here is to roll, not fold. Roll it like you would roll a sushi or burrito, then put it under your mattress for as long as possible (the longer the better). When it’s time to get dressed, unravel it, and voila!

Use your flat iron. That’s right, ladies! Your flat iron can work wonders when you’re in a rush. Wipe the plates to remove any lingering hair products and set the heat to high for cotton and low for silk. This one’s especially great for smoothing out smaller wrinkles in your roundie.

Keep it close by when you shower. When you hop into your shower, close the bathroom door and any windows to trap the steam. Hang your roundie on a hanger or on the towel rack so it can soak in the steam and de-wrinkle itself.

Use a pot. This one’s pretty genius. Boil some water in a metal pot (preferably one with a handle). Once the water comes to a boil, pour the water into a cup and use the bottom of the pot, which should be hot, as an iron! Of course, make sure the bottom is free of any stains or residue.
