If you leave the tote out the smell will go away if not then just clean it with mild soap and cold water. I love the tote it's great for carrying my work things with me to work. I do travel a lot of work and it holds everything extra that I need for when I travel either on the plane or car goes over my roll away luggage great! My ear plugs work well you need to hold down the on/off button until you hear them say connected to phone then go to settings on your phone and click on them, then they are paired to your phone, but you have to charge the plugs first. I loved my box, yes the outer box was damaged a little but that is UPS for you, it's getting to be the busy time of the year ladies, what do you expect UPS and Federal Express are getting a little swamped plus with the storm both are busy getting supplies out to the people that need supplies not to worried about our FFF boxes. I was disappointed that my Fall Box didn't come in a Fab Fit Box. Everything just thrown into a shopping box. My teapot was chipped and my earphones won't pair with my phone. It was a shitty box this time.

This is the first time I have commented on a item I have received. The vegan leather tote is very cheap looking, I did not like it at all. It has no compartments or zippers, and I see no use for it. It is to heavy for travel and to cheap looking to give away for a gift.
