Eyeshadow palettes are one of makeup’s greatest inventions. It’s so versatile that it might be the only makeup item you ever need, especially because it can be used for more than adding shades to your lids.
We’re currently obsessed with the Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette, which is now available in the FabFitFun Fall Box (along with a handful of other amazing goodies). While you can create flattering eyeshadow looks, you can also use this palette to simplify your makeup routine. From contouring to filling in brows, here are some funs ways we’re using our new beauty go-to:
Use as a Highlight
Light, shimmery shades can be used to add highlight to your cheek, cupid’s bow, and under your brow. There’s no need to carry a highlight with you when you can just use this all-in-one product to add some glow!
Use as Bronzer
Any copper-y shade can be used to add a little color to your face. You thought those darker colors were good for just applying to the crease of your lid? Think again!
Create a Contour
Select a shadow that’s a couple shades darker than your skin tone and work your contouring magic! That’s right ladies — no need to have any special contouring tools when everything you need for a full face of glam is already in this palette.
Shape Your Brows
Your brows will forever be on fleek because, yes, you can use the darker shades to add color and fill in your brows.
Use as Eyeliner
Lightly wet an eyeliner brush, dip it in your shadow of choice, then apply onto your lid and work that cat eye! It’ll give your shadow more pigment, making it just as thick as eyeliner.
Make a Root Touch-Up
Dyeing your hair means regularly maintaining it. But when it’s time to make your next hair appointment, use eyeshadow as a root touch-up instead. Simply apply it anywhere your roots are starting to show, and just like magic, you’ve extended your dye job!
Use to Brighten Under Your Eyes
Concealer is great for when those under eye bags get too real. Use the lightest shade in the palette to hide any dark circles! No one will even know you were out so late thanks to this palette.
DIY Lip Gloss
Take some powder, mix it with a little petroleum jelly, and bam! You’ve just made your very own pigmented and moisturizing lip gloss.
