Roses, wine, romance, and a lot of drama – yep, that pretty much sums up last night’s episode of The Bachelor. Football heartthrob Colton Underwood and the ladies flew to Singapore to bungee jump, go on an unlimited shopping spree, and indulge in all of the traditional market cuisines. It was basically Crazy Rich Asians in real life.
Underwood and Tayshia Adams kicked off the Singapore adventure by bungee jumping off a building and the rush of (literally) falling in love was on full display, especially when Adams opened up about her recent divorce. Underwood, being the sweet man he is, was totally understanding and accepting of her past.

While the dates are fun and flirty, if the girls want to form actual relationships, they need to have some difficult conversations. Caelynn Miller, who had the second one-on-one date, opened up about her painful experience with sexual assault, an issue that hasn’t been highlighted on the show before.
It wasn’t an easy conversation to watch, but her bravery to open up about her experience on national TV will hopefully reassure anyone who has gone through similar experiences that they’re not alone. If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault, visit rainn.com to seek help.

The remaining women went on a group date with Underwood to a local market where they tasted tons of foreign foods. The lighthearted date was eventually interrupted by some serious drama as two of the women began savagely fighting for Underwood’s attention (can you blame them?).

The episode eventually ended with a rose ceremony full of heartbreak as Underwood said goodbye to two women (but it’s all part of the journey to find love, right?).
