Graphic Lids

Whether it was bold black wings at Phillip Lim or pops of neon color at Chromat, one thing’s for sure: graphic lids are here to stay. To create the look yourself, stock up on bold shadows and liners from MAC Cosmetics.

Healthy, Glowing Skin

Characterized by natural-looking makeup and an eye-catching radiance, this look was worn by models on the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2020 runway. To recreate the look, do as Pat McGrath did and create a base with the Marc Jacobs Beauty Youthquake Gel Crème Moisturizer, Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(Cover) Blurring Coconut Face Primer, and Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(Cover) Eye Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer.

Low Messy Buns

What once was a faux pas is now high fashion. Just look at the models at Rebecca Minkoff that proved the simple hairstyle is effortlessly chic. To snag the look for yourself, copy celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan and prep dry hair with TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray, then pull your hair into a loose twisted bun at the nape of the neck.

Sleek Center Parts

No side part was in sight at this year’s NYFW. Take the models at Phillip Lim – their gorgeous runway ‘fits were topped off with perfectly-straight, middle-parted tresses that added a chic element to the overall look. To DIY, use hairstylist Gary Gill’s method and start with Aveda phomollient Styling Foam on damp hair for easy, sleek styling.

Pearl Braids

As if the fashion at Alice + Olivia’s presentation wasn’t enough of a dream, the addition of pearlized braids certainly took it to a whole new level. Marjan created the look by weaving a reverse French braid from the hairline down to the ends and topped it off with self-adhesive pearls (which you can find at craft stores).

Half-Up Top Knot

Anna Sui gave us the inspiration we needed to take the classic messy bun a step further. Enter: the mega-messy, ultra-voluminous half-up top knot. To get the look, use the R+Co BALLOON Dry Volume Spray for added volume and texture.
