If you’re in a bad mood, sometimes it feels like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. If you need to turn that frown upside-down, try these three tips to lift your spirits and feel thankful for every day.

Practice gratefulness. Spend five minutes before you fall asleep to write down in a journal five things that you’re grateful for that day. When you’ve had a particularly stressful day, look back on prior entries to remind yourself of all of the things that make your life great.

Attack your bucket list. Have you wanted to travel? Maybe you want to train for a marathon, or you’ve always wanted to learn to ski? Now is the time! Accomplish something from your bucket list to feel more fulfilled.

Have some “me time.” Sometimes our schedules can be super busy. Remember to schedule time for yourself! Get your nails done, get a massage, color in an adult coloring book…do whatever it is that makes you happy.

Now don’t you feel better? If you need more ways to boost your mood, check out The Workout Girl for workouts that will give you an endorphin rush.
