Even though we might take preventative measures with bug spray or insect repellent candles, nothing is foolproof. So next time you’re targeted by those pesky insects, here are some helpful and handy tips to treat your bites.
Don’t scratch
This is the first step to healing your bite. By all means, resist the urge to scratch because it increases symptoms and potentially exposes broken skin to infections. Try the tips below before going crazy with the scratching.
Try hydrocortisone cream
The anti-itch cream treats inflammation, redness, and swelling while fighting against any allergic reactions. Pop a bit onto the itchy area and refrain from touching it as it works its magic.
Ice it
