Bourbon Battles at Marriott Hotels
Kicking off at Griffin Gate in Lexington, Kentucky, Marriott Hotels has launched a super fun Bourbon Battles series that will stop at Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront on May 12, Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel on May 19, Boston Marriott Long Wharf on May 25, and end at the New York Marriott at The Brooklyn Bridge on June 14 — which just so happens to be National Bourbon Day. At each spot, four talented bartenders compete in an interactive cocktail competition with judges in hopes to make it to the final round. Expect lots of booze and fun in celebration of their awesome new bourbon program.
Fish to Fork at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort
Foodies should take note of the 3rd annual Fish to Fork James Beard Foundation event at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Florida on May 6-8. Situated on the Omni’s stunning seaside property, guests will participate in the ultimate culinary experience, which includes dock-to-dish creations from six top chefs from around the country, wine pairings, and more.
