Fixer Upper HGTV

Everyone’s favorite construction and decorating duo just announced that they’ll be leaving their hit HGTV show, Fixer Upper, after they wrap up season five.

The show, which follows Chip and Joanna Gaines as they remodel and redecorate homes in Waco, Texas, will no longer be on our TV screens every Tuesday night. And as difficult as the decision was to make, the couple only found it right to leave the show to focus on their family and other business ventures.

“Our plan is to take this time to shore up and strengthen the spots that are weak, rest the places that are tired, and give lots of love and attention to both our family and our business,” said Chip Gaines.

With four kids and multiple businesses, including Magnolia Market, a quarterly magazine, and a real estate company (just to name a few), we can all agree they have their hands pretty full.

But, don’t fret. Season five is set to air November 28, giving us plenty of time to prepare our goodbyes.
