We’ll admit we get lazy when it comes to getting ready in the morning. While we love being glammed and manicured on a daily basis, we’re also realistic and take shortcuts where we can.
One hack we utilize is doubling up our bronzer as a sculpt and contour shade (and vice versa). The trick is to find a shade right in between a cool and warm tone — a color that naturally makes you look sun-touched while creating a shadow to accentuate your bone structure.
Below are our favorite products we use as multitasking contour/bronzer shades.
Laura Geller Beach Matte Baked Hydrating Bronzer in Siesta Medium $33
A hydrating powder bronzer that’s whipped with antioxidants practically had us at hello, but after testing the product out, we became infatuated! Not only is the formula to-die, but the color is also everything we want in a bronzer. It’s warm with notes of cooler tones, so you can skip the extra contour step with other products.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer $29
Benefit’s Hoola has been loved for years due to its beautiful formula and color. The color blends on the skin seamlessly, leaving no patches or chalky residue. The color is a beautiful neutral brown that’s warm enough to bronze the skin, yet cool enough to contour with.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette Refill in Shadowplay $16
If the KVD Shade and Light Palette isn’t the most clutch sculpt and highlight palette out there, then we don’t know what is! We love the shade Shadowplay as it works as not only a sculpting powder, but also a bronzer as well. Trust us when we say this color makes life easy when you’re in need of some quick warmth and structure.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer $14.99
A drugstore bronzer that looks superb on the skin had to make this list. Its creamy formula glides on the face effortlessly, and enhances your skin’s natural beauty. Not only does the Butter Bronzer give a gorgeous sun-kissed complexion, it also looks great when used to slim the face. Oh, and the scent is intoxicating — it smells like a tropical vacation!
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow $68
This luxe highlight contour duo is raved about amongst many celeb makeup artists for a reason. When looking at the contour shade at first glance, the color comes off as a true cool-toned contour shade. But once you buff the powder onto the skin, the product starts to give a beautiful glow that gives the face a subtle back-from-vacation kind of look.
