The 90th Academy Awards was one to remember with a horror genre taking home Best Writing (Original Screenplay), a special visit to a movie theater across the street by a group of stars, and a successful presentation of winners (remember last year’s Best Picture flub?).

But, of course, one of our favorite award show traditions is the red carpet looks, and we can always look forward to the Oscars for some of the best outfits.

From classic Hollywood glam ensembles to ‘fits straight off the runway, here are our favorite looks from last night.

Lupita Nyong’o

Nyong’o paid homage to her role in The Black Panther with an armor-inspired gown by Atelier Versace. Who else agrees the iridescent gold number makes her look like a warrior princess?

Meryl Streep

Nothing screams classic quite like an all-red dress. Streep’s Christian Dior Haute Couture gown had a wide v-neck, three-quarter-length sleeves, and a matching red waist belt for an oh-so-flattering silhouette.

Nicole Kidman

Kidman rocked a satin blue gown by Armani Privé. The giant bow on her waist added just enough of a statement to have her stand out in a sea of stars.

Emily Blunt

Feminine, flirty, and frilly — Blunt looked absolutely gorgeous in her Schiaparelli Haute Couture number. She kept it modest with a simple beauty look and a high neckline.

Jennifer Lawrence

We’re getting major flashbacks to Lawrence’s The Hunger Games look. Her Christian Dior gown was decked out in gold sequins, which was styled with springy curls and smokey eyes.

Saoirse Ronan

Ronan’s Calvin Klein dress featured a gorgeous bow that trailed into a mini train. Paired with matching pink Christian Louboutin shoes, and you’ve got one sweet red carpet look.

Greta Gerwig

Whether it was the bright yellow shade of Gerwig’s dress or her beaming smile, we couldn’t help but be drawn to this Rodarte ensemble.

Zendaya

Zendaya always knows how to stand out on a red carpet. Her Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown had everyone turning heads with its unique ruffles and one-shoulder fit.

Keala Settle

We can’t get enough of Settle’s nude Christian Siriano x Laura Basci number. The sparkly embellishments all throughout the dress definitely made her one shiny star.

Gina Rodriguez

Rodriguez channeled major princess vibes with her full circle skirt and plunging neckline by Zuhair Murad Couture. She kept the rest of her hair and makeup look simple to let the sparkles on her dress take center stage.
