Awards season is in full swing, which means we have a large wave of red carpet looks to swoon over. Sunday night marked the 60th Grammy Awards, and although some of these stars may not have taken home a gold gramophone, they completely stunned on the red carpet.
And what made this year’s red carpet event even more special, was the music industry’s nod to the Time’s Up movement, a campaign in which over 300 women in the entertainment industry work to combat sexual assault, harassment, and inequality in the workplace. Stars were called to sport a white rose (historically known to stand for hope, peace, sympathy, and resistance) to join the #TimesUp campaign.
Check out a few of our favorite looks below.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga sported a luxurious Armani gown that trailed out into a gorgeous train and adorned herself in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. But what really had people turning heads was the amazing lace-up detail she created with her hair.
Hailee Steinfeld
Steinfeld sure knows how to have fun with her outfit while keeping it classy. She jazzed up her white strapless gown by Alexandre Vauthier with metallic purple knee-high boots for a fun splash of color.
Chrissy Teigen
Whether it was Teigen’s sparkly Yanina Couture gown or her pregnancy glow, there’s no denying the model looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet. Plus, how adorable is the happy couple?
SZA
SZA may not have taken home a Grammy, but she stole the show as she made her way down the red carpet in a couture Versace number. She embraced her natural curls by keeping her hair down and kept the accessories minimal to let the frills and lace on the dress really shine.
Lana Del Rey
Even in a sea of megastars, the singer looked like something out of a fairy tale in her star crown and custom Gucci gown. She stayed true to the silver accents on her dress with matching silver shoes and jewelry.
Janelle Monae
Monae always knows how to stand out on a star-studded red carpet. The singer rocked a tuxedo-inspired pantsuit by Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Louboutin shoes.
Cardi B
Cardi B was a vision in white (think butterfly sleeves, a pleated lace train, and an angel wing silhouette). She joined the #TimesUp movement by carrying a delicate white rose in one hand.
Miley Cyrus
Cyrus paid homage to the velvet trend in a black Jean-Paul Gaultier jumpsuit. Her all-black look made the white rose she was carrying take center stage as she stood in solidarity with the #TimesUp campaign.
Kelly Clarkson
Clarkson looked like a vintage goddess in her beautiful Christian Siriano gown. The gold details paired with the black fringe (and, of course, her beaming smile) made her red carpet look one to remember.
Eve
Eve embraced the menswear trend in a glamorous pinstriped pantsuit by Naeem Khan. She kept the look sexy with a deep-v cut and springy curls.
