Unistella, a salon in South Korea, is getting tons of attention for their latest nail endeavor. The wire nail art trend is not only pretty, but it’s also a minimalist’s dream! It’s a simple embellishment that can be as bold or as classic as you want it.
Eun Kyung Park, the founder of Unistella and the brains behind this fun trend, told Marie Claire that the inspiration came from wire signs.
“When you make neon signs, you have to bend the wires to make certain lettering,” she explains. “It’s one long wire that’s bent to create and connect the letters. I thought this was really cool and since nails are an accessory, I wanted it to be used for expression. Like rings.”
