Let’s be real: buying food isn’t at the top of anyone’s to-do list when visiting a theme park.

But if you’re going to Universal Orlando for just the attractions, you’re doing it wrong (sorry, Harry) — because the resort has a world class food scene. From CityWalk to Islands of Adventure, here’s all the food stops you need to visit:

ugh craving this rn

What’s Shakin’ Tuna Bacon Sandwich at Cowfish
If you ever crave a burger and sushi for dinner, this is your spot. The restaurant offers the two separately, but also combines them to create delightful fusion dishes. Our fave is this sandwich, which takes yellowfin tuna, applewood bacon, jalapeños, spicy mayo, and more and puts it all in between two rice “buns.”

Chocolate Almond Bread at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen
Bread or chocolate lovers will want to stuff their mouths full of this chocolate almond bread. It’s sweet, but not too sweet, plus the salted caramel butter gives you a great sweet/savory balance.

Butterbeer at Wizarding World of Harry Potter
We had to include Butterbeer on our list. The actual recipe (which tastes frothy and carbonated at the same time) was created by top Orlando chefs and approved by J.K. Rowing herself, so you know it’s good. Whether you get the Butterbeer iced, frozen, or hot (this is seasonal), you need to try it ASAP.

Big Pink at Lard Lad Donuts
Um, how can you even deny a gigantic pink doughnut? Get this as a little (kind of big) pick-me-up before you go on all those rides at Universal Studios Florida aka where all The Simpsons food items live.

milkshakes of my dreams at toothsome in @universalorlando ?????

Milkshakes at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen
OK, basically any of the milkshakes from Toothsome are worth trying — especially the Cinnamon Fantasy (on the right) which is basically Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream mixed with bits and pieces of this childhood favorite cereal. We’re drooling already.

The Great Feast at Three Broomsticks
If you want to dine like Harry Potter and company, grab dinner at the Three Broomsticks. The restaurant offers delicious plates of food straight out of the books (created by top chefs) and it tastes amazing. If you’re with a big group, order the Great Feast — it’s basically a big tray filled with all the corn, roasted potatoes, veggies, and smoked chicken you could dream of.

yum!

Spanakopita Dip at Mythos Restaurant
How can you not stop by a place that was voted Best Theme Park Restaurant for six years in a row. We’re obsessed with this dip that’s a savory blend of spinach, feta cheese, and fresh herbs served with fresh pita chips.
