When you’ve finally used up that last little bit of mascara, don’t throw it away! You can toss the tube, but be sure to hang on to the wand with the bristles because it will come in handy in more ways than you’d ever imagine.
Simply clean the wand with warm water and soap, and you can use it to brush your brow hairs, tame fly aways, and even clean your jewelry. We’re telling you — the possibilities are endless.
Our favorite wand to use is the Butter London Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara because while it promises 300% volume increase as a mascara, it’s also so versatile to use unconventionally because of its unique bristles and rounded head. Oh, and it’s in the FabFitFun Winter Box.
Brush your brows. If you thought that mascara wands were only for your lashes, think again! They can be used to keep your brows on fleek. Use the clean mascara wand to brush out your brows to get that perfect shape before filling them in.
Keep fly aways at bay. A little hairspray and a mascara wand can go a long way. Keep your fly aways at a minimum by spritzing your wand with a bit of hairspray and using it to brush down those stray hairs that don’t cooperate.
Condition your lashes. Dip your wand into castor oil and apply it to your lashes. This method will give them a deep down conditioning treatment that will have them looking thicker and fuller in no time.
Remove mascara. Getting every bit of mascara off at the end of the day can be easier said than done, but we’ve found your solution! Put some makeup remover on an old wand, and you’ll be able to clean those hard to reach places in between your lashes.
Clean jewelry. Give your jewels a deep cleaning by scrubbing your rings and more with the mascara wand.
Use it to exfoliate. Use the tool to gently scrub your lips after applying a lip balm or scrub. Your pout feeling soft and smooth in no time.
