Whew! Team USA has been killin’ it at the Rio Olympics this past week, and we couldn’t be prouder.
From the first African American woman swimmer to win gold to Team USA crushing the competition in gymnastics, we’ve got your recap:
Michael Phelps won his 25th Olympic medal as part of the men’s 4×200 freestyle relay. No biggie. Oh, and he also defended his 200 meter individual medley gold as well. Also, no biggie.
Simone Manuel became the first African American woman swimmer to win gold after she tied with Canada’s Penny Oleksiak.
Simone Biles brought home the gold in women’s all-around gymnastics while teammate Aly Raisman secured the silver medal. Oh, and Zac Efron and Biles are getting pretty flirty on social media.
Team USA currently has 38 medals, 16 of which are gold, and we know that number is only going to go up.
