Is it just one of those days where you’re running from meeting to appointments to errands? You want to do a workout, but you just don’t know if you’ll have the time. The truth is you can always squeeze in a sweat sesh, even in just five minutes. Here are the three moves you should be doing for a quick, but effective, workout:
- The forearm plank. Begin in a position as if you are going to do a push up. Bend your elbows to lower onto your forearms. Hold this position for at least 30 seconds. This move is a great way to quickly tone up your abs.
- The wall sit. Begin with your back against a wall. Bend your knees to slide your back down the wall until your knees are bent at a 90 degree angle. It should look like you are sitting on an invisible chair. Hold this position for at least 30 seconds. This move focuses on toning your butt and legs.
- Your basic push up. Do 10 good ones to tone up your arms.
If you have a few minutes, do this circuit 3 times. You’ll get a total body workout in a short amount of time. If you’re feeling more ambitious, try one of these 1 hour circuit workouts that you can do at home.
