We’re so excited for our partnership! Why did you decide to partner with FabFitFun?
I love the idea of discovering new products and sharing old favorites! When I was asked to contribute to the Summer Box, it seemed like a natural fit! Growing up on the beach and living in SoCal my whole life, I pretty much live in an endless summer.
What is your favorite Summer & Rose towel and why?
I love the palm pattern! It has a little bit of every color in it so it will be sure to match whatever bikini you want to wear! We’re all about keeping our makeup light and minimal in the summer.
What are you summer beauty must-haves?
I love using a tinted moisturizer. Light coverage and sun protection in one! I also love a tinted multiuse cheek and lip stain! And always waterproof mascara. It’s the perfect natural no-makeup makeup.
FabFitFun is all about inspiring happiness and personal growth. What makes you the happiest?
I am the happiest when I am at a perfect balance of work and play. I love to feel productive, but it is so important to find time for friends, family, and yourself!
How do you hope to empower and inspire women through fashion and your modeling career?
I hope to inspire girls to dream big. Blogging wasn’t even a job when I was in school, but following my passions and hard work landed me where I am today! Also, fashion should always be fun. Don’t take it too seriously!
Growing up in SoCal, it’s no wonder you’re a beach girl at heart. What’s your favorite part of living in L.A./San Diego?
Obviously, I love being able to go to the beach year-round, but one of my favorite things about SoCal is all the different places within a short drive…you can be in the desert, in the mountains skiing, all in a couple hours. I love being outdoors so having access to all these amazing environments is very cool.
You’re constantly traveling! How do you find time for yourself to relax and unwind despite your busy schedule?
I actually love long plane rides. I can’t use my phone, can’t answer emails, and get time to relax and be alone without any interruptions, which these days [are] a real luxury! I also love a good massage.
Do you have any summer traditions?
My fiancé is from New York, so a new tradition we have is spending a week in the Hamptons each summer. There is a strong beach culture on the East Coast as well, so it’s been fun [to experience] that.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?
All the things you think make you weird will one day be the things that people love about you. Don’t worry.
