Adopting a minimalist makeup routine can totally improve how you get ready in the morning. Not only can you sleep in a bit longer, you can also look natural and well-put together in almost no time! These steps are great for the makeup minimalist, or for anyone who just doesn’t have 30 minutes to get ready.

Apply your normal skin care, then follow these easy steps to look polished and pretty in an efficient amount of time!

Step 1: Apply your favorite tinted moisturizer for light coverage. Tinted moisturizers provide light but buildable coverage. Many makeup minimalists love to opt for this instead of a foundation because the product not only provides SPF and dewy hydration, but also evens out the complexion without masking too much of the skin.

Step 2: Use a concealer slightly lighter than your complexion to brighten the under eyes to fake a wide awake look. Pot concealers are great because you can easily control how much product you put on your face. Your fingers are your best tool for this, no brushes needed!

Step 3: Give your cheeks a quick pop of color and glow with a cream product that gives a perfect flush. Simply dab your finger in the product and pat on the apples of the cheeks and cheekbones for a healthy fresh face. You can even use the cream blush as a quick wash of color to the lips.

Step 4: Give yourself a light dusting of a loose powder to keep the cream products set in place so you won’t need to touch up throughout the day. Use a large fluffy brush or fan brush to lightly sweep the powder over the entire face. Opt for a product that lets your skin breathe and doesn’t look too cakey.

Step 5: Set your brows and lashes in place with a clear brow gel or clear mascara. This will make sure your eyebrow hairs don’t move, as well as give the lashes more definition without clumping or making them look like there’s any product on them.
