There are certain iconic and, let’s be honest, cliché landmarks most travelers hope to visit when planning a trip to Italy. What’s an Italian adventure without seeing the Colosseum in Rome, touring the Vatican, shopping in Milan, or sailing down the canals of Venice?

Isola di Pellestrina

This small island of northern Italy separates the southern Venetian Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. Stick around to see the sunset — it’s truly breathtaking.

Assisi

There’s nothing like a little small town charm! The central Italian town of Assisi has a lot to boast with beautiful, historic architecture and a gorgeous hilly landscape. It’s also the home of Saint Francis!


Bergamo

Forget the hype of Milan and check out this romantic city lined with eloquent Venetian walls. Also called “The City of the Thousand,” check out Bergamo’s ancient palaces and castles as you trod down its cobblestone streets.
