Plug into a suitable electric socket and press the recessed power symbol located on top of the iron. The display will illuminate signifying your iron is heating up. Your iron will heat up to 460 degrees. To adjust the temperature tap the plus symbol (+) or minus symbol (-) adjacent to the power button until the desired temperature is displayed. The temperature adjusts in 40 degree Fahrenheit increments or 20 degree celsius increments. To switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius or Celsius to Fahrenheit depress the plus symbol (+) and the minus symbol (-) simultaneously for one second. Comb or brush hair into sections approximately 2 inches wide then place the section between the two heating plates close to the roots of the selected section, do not touch scalp. Close the plates firmly around the selected hair section; sliding the iron gradually down and off each section of hair. Do not hold hair between plates for longer than 2-5 seconds (depending on hair thickness and condition). After one section is completed, move to another section of hair and repeat the process until all hair is styled. To turn the iron off press the power button for two seconds. Once the display is dark, unplug the power cord and allow to fully cool prior to storing. Do not wrap the power cord around the iron.
