1. Works best on clean and detangled hair. 2. Plug in and use switch to open and separate plates. 3. Power ON and use +/- buttons to set desired temperature. Allow tool to fully heat up. 4. Divide hair into small sections (2in/5cm). 5. Hold hair firmly between heating plates while slowly gliding tool down the length of hair, working from root to tip. Repeat as necessary. 6. For waves or curls, give the tool a slight twist as you glide down each length of hair. Allow hair to cool before further styling. 6. Power OFF, unplug and allow tool to fully cool down before storage.
