The Bug Bite Thing is a SUCTION TOOL that extracts the irritant and helps alleviate the itching, stinging and swelling that occurs with bug bites and stings.

How to Use
Begin with the handles pushed all the way down. Place the tool over the bite or sting area. Slowly pull up on the handles until you feel suction. Hold the handles in place for 10-20 seconds. Push the handles all the way down. Remove the Bug Bite Thing from the skin. If you have followed the proper usage instructions and your bite is still itchy, you can increase the suction (how high you pull the handles up) and/or the duration (how long you keep the handles pulled up). You can also repeat the process to achieve desired results. Keep in mind, ‘less is more’ until you are familiar with the tool.

Care Instructions
Wash the removable end cap with warm soapy water or an alcohol wipe between uses. Avoid getting the pump portion wet to prevent the tool from losing its suction ability.

I don't feel it made a difference at all. It seems like a good idea, but to be effective you have to catch it right away.

My daughter gets a lot of mosquito bites and they really irritate her skin. If I actually catch it right after it happens, it seems to help.
