The 1996 hit song Wannabe by Spice Girls got a slight makeover — and we’re diggin’ it.
Women all around the world including India, South Africa, and the United Kingdom created a lip sync video with amazing dance moves to further push the boundaries of gender inequality.
There are signs in the background of the video which call out what women “really, really want” including topics like:
End violence against girls.
Quality education for all girls.
End child marriage.
Equal pay for equal work.
The end of the video encourages women to share what they desire with the hashtag #WhatIReallyReallyWant and submissions will be shared with leaders during the U.N. Sustainable Development Summit in September.

People all around the world have already been sharing their thoughts on what they want for girls and women and even Posh Spice has joined the movement.
This video was produced by Project Everyone which is an organization that works to spread awareness about the U.N.’s Global Sustainability Goals. The U.N. has a list of 17 goals they’d like to achieve by 2030 and this video specifically targets goal number five: gender equality.
