Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty shared a series of candid and emotional Instagram photos documenting her fight against breast cancer.

The actress shared six photos of her head being shaved while surrounded by loved ones. Prior to posting these photos, Doherty shared an Instagram photo of a razor and chocolates including the hashtags #fuckcancer and #thankgodforfriends.

It was first revealed that the actress had breast cancer after she filed a lawsuit against her managers arguing that they let her health insurance run out, so she wasn’t able to see a doctor and received a delayed diagnosis.

Her close friend Anne Kortright-Shilstat was also with Shannen during the process and shared her own post in support of the actress.
