Pumpkin and fall are synonymous with one another, and as we count down to pumpkin season, we wanted to make sure you were prepped and ready with this perfect fall treat by Francesca from Loaf & Love. Ingredients:
Pumpkin Spice Streusel
- ½ cup All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Brown dark sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
- ¼ cup cold Unsalted butter, cubed
Pumpkin Bread
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 3 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup dark Brown sugar
- 1 (15 oz.) canned Pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Large eggs, room temperature
Cream Cheese Drizzle
- 2 oz Cream cheese room temperature
- 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup Powdered sugar sifted
- ¼ cup Milk
Directions:
Pumpkin Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9X5-inch loaf pan with baking nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix the butter, sugar, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, vanilla, and eggs (one at a time.)
- Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients bowl, mix until just combined.

Pour half the batter into the pan.
Pumpkin Spice Streusel

In a small bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, and pumpkin spice together with a fork. Add the cubed butter and mix together with your fingers until pea-sized crumbs are formed.
- Sprinkle half the streusel mix on top of the batter.
- Add the remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the streusel on top.

Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Let the bread cool completely before drizzling the cream cheese frosting on top.
Cream Cheese Drizzle

In a small bowl using a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla on high speed until smooth (about 2 minutes)

Add the powdered sugar and mix on low until combined. Pour in the milk and mix. It should be pourable consistency.

Drizzle over the top of the cake and enjoy!
